This will be short and just a reminder that I haven't forgotten to write. The meal tonight at Shiloh was definitely a success - thank you dear Lord for guiding us in what to prepare! We did run out of meat right at the end and I was so sorry! We had lots of people show up that did not sign up or call and we started out giving food out like we would only have about 65 to 70 people! I am truly upset and sad that we made a couple of people mad that we could not send home food with them -- but I hope they understand we gave out all of the food and several just got potatoes and beans, bread and dessert! If it will make them feel better - I came home and had a half of a peanut butter sanddwich - with no jelly!
THe cookies and cream pie was one of the favorites - followed closely by the chocolate from Luby's cookbook! Hmmm- most people do prefer chocolate - don't they??
I have to go to bed -- my body is gently - well not so gently telling me it is NOW! So - may God bless your Thursday and remember JUST DO WHAT IS RIGHT AND GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOu!!!
